This Wiki was created using Vimwiki & MKDocs.

VimWiki

Vimwiki is a Vim/Neovim plug-in that allows its users to easily create (& navigate between) inter-linked Markdown files.

It's an incredily simple but also an incredibly powerful tool for knowledge capture & retrieval.

If you're an avid Vim or Neovim user, I highly recommend checking it out!

MKDocs

MKDocs is a a simple & customizable static-site generator that converts Markdown files into responsive HTML using Bootstrap.

It's actively maintained, can be installed locally from te command line, thus helping you avoid vendor lock-in, and comes with its own dev and build tools.

Although primarily used to generate documentation for software projects, I find that it pairs incredibly well with VimWiki.

Depending on your device's screen size, you can either:

  • Use the accordian sidebar on the left 👈 side of your screen
  • Use the hamburger menu at the top ☝️ of your screen

to navigate the site.
